This urban villa occupies the penthouse level of a residential building in Belgrade, positioned to capture uninterrupted views toward the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers and the historic fortress beyond. The project is conceived as a continuous living environment where interior and exterior spaces are closely intertwined. The primary living space extends directly onto a generous terrace, dissolving the boundary between inside and outside and allowing the landscape to become part of the daily experience. The material palette is deliberately restrained and direct. Exposed concrete ceilings are left untreated, establishing a calm and neutral framework for the space. This is complemented by natural wood, metal elements, and planted surfaces, including a continuous green terrace that reinforces the connection to the surrounding landscape. Materials are used in their most authentic state, without concealment or embellishment. The interior is organized as an open plan, allowing for flexibility and fluid movement. Furniture is carefully selected and positioned to remain secondary to the architecture—integrated rather than imposed—supporting a spatial clarity aligned with a “less is more” approach. The result is a quiet, expansive living environment defined by light, material clarity, and a seamless relationship to the city and its natural context.
